The Area
Nature's Rebirth is located, and functions in co-operation with an international permaculture & healing centered community called Valle Armonia (The Valley Of Harmony).
The community is a restorative and off-grid project occupying over 25 hectares in the jungle. Situated on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, approximately 20 minutes away from the Atlantic ocean and the town of Puerto Viejo.

Backpack trip
To cleanse the mind and amplify joy we'll explore this paradisal area with day trips to the beach and national parks. You can also choose to participate in a variety of activities in the nearby touristic town Puerto Viejo. Such as biking along the sea shore, ecstatic dance, nature celebrating ceremonies, kirtans, and more!
The Community
Our guests are free to explore and spend time in all common areas on the Valle Armonia community property and are very welcome to observe and participate in its social life.
There are many water elements on the land to support the detox
Imagine waking up at sunrise... Without raising your head from the pillow you see a beautiful tropical valley. The clouds of mist roll through the peaks of the trees. You are surrounded by the sounds of many Birds and Monkeys; the buzz of the jungle at dawn. You can't help but align yourself with the rhythm of it... You walk barefoot down the path to the river to refresh, and greet a new day of healing immersed in nature.
Daily swims in the river, the creek at the bottom of the valley, the waterfall, frequent tropical thunderstorms which sound their healing Earth Shumen resonance frequencies, and regular trips to the ocean. All of this water supports the cleanse.

Fruit Forest and Produce
Valle Armonia is a bio-intensive reforestation project that is about six years old.
Considering the fact that the valley was a cow pasture land when we purchased it, it's exciting to see how much can be achieved in this stretch of time by a small group of enthusiasts.
We are harvesting all of our bananas, a variety of fruits, and some veggies. The rest we supply from the neighboring farms and local fresh markets.

All our accommodations have no walls for enhancing the immersion in nature.
All private spaces are bug-proof and have curtains for when you choose privacy over the view.

A mattress, bedding, and a plastic bin to store your belongings during humid times are all the furniture you will need.
Dry composting toilet and a simple rain water shower shared between a few platforms, and some ropes to hang your laundry.
For all other needs you are welcome to use community shared spaces.

I have been on a long healing journey which began with a focus on the body and gradually expanded into the realms of the mind, emotions, and the spirit.
My formal education in the healing arts is a Masters Degree in Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition, which focuses on restoring and maintaining balance rather than "getting rid" of symptoms. - Ori River TolkovskyMusic, Sound Healing & Energy WorkMy experience in healing comes through delving very deep into my own healing journey. I came into this life to unwind deep layers of human conditioning, which manifested as complex, energetical, yet very tangible and physically limiting knots in my body. Through this process I have learnt a lot about the human condition, our true potential, and cleared my self so as to be able to shine a light for others in this Earth journey.
I am a passionate musician and singer, and love to facilitate healing through music, sound healing, and hands on energy work. It would be a pleasure to support you on your healing journey at natures rebirth. - Mark HowarthEnergy Healer & Massage TherapistI've been a professional massage therapist since 1990 and gave sessions to at least 5,000 people while working at a hot springs in northern New Mexico from 1998 to 2008. I've built small private practices several times before and after the hot springs period.
Holistic and transformational are the two words that best describe my approach to the healing work I offer. My training in the healing arts, at Heartwood Institute in northern California, was based in those concepts. Over the three-year period studying there, I also helped manage the school, which was run by an amazing community of people in a very rural setting.
Ever since then, I've wanted to co-create a community with a healing retreat center at its core. Healing, intentional community, and spiritual awakening are my greatest passions. I feel honored to offer all of this to you in the beautiful setting of Valle Armonia.

- Family:What are the options for child care?Nature's rebirth:Valle Armonia is a family oriented community and assists with finding the right caregiver full or part time from within or outside the community.
There is also a small, mixed-age educational center a few minutes away from us. Your children could be accepted during opening hours for the duration of your stay, and be surrounded by peers who live the life-style that you learn in Nature's Rebirth. - Family:Is it safe for the children in the jungle?Nature's Rebirth:The jungle is bountiful with living beings. Its safe to be barefoot in cleared areas such as the community areas, on the paths, and around the river. Its advisable to wear boots and have some supervision when exploring the forest.
- Family:Will the kids stay on the same diet?Nature's Rebirth:A different approach is recommended when planning for a transition for children. There would be less focus on detox and more on visual presentation and making the new diet "familiar" by substituting old dishes with new ingredients. In some cases a more gradual transition would bring more stable and lasting results.
